for amtrak, i'm actually taking the train from st louis to chicago in a couple of weeks for a concert! this will be the second time and honestly i prefer it to flying or driving(though if you're going to/from st louis i've seen other people say to go from alton, il since that area is safer and only about an hour away). the stress of flying is gone and you don't have to actually pay attention to the road or anything! it's also hellllllllla cheaper(my round trip was like $80 i think?) glad you're feeling better but sorry you had to suffer :((

Anyone else get a weird sort of visual enjoyment out of the time-lapse oven cam, especially the reverse baking bit? It's like a visual asmr hit! How does one achieve this? Do we use a tripod set up or some sort of suction cup situation? I also become very introspective in the car. I often cry listening to music, even when it’s not sad. Sometimes it’s just nostalgic and evokes memories of the past and it makes me teary. Also, I just finished Funny Story and loved it. I lol’ed and teared up at different points.

I love the Amtrak. It's slower than other travel but nice and relaxing for me.

Are you still taking Glp1? It's crazy that you could eat 1.5lbs of food whilst on a glp1.. Your appetite should be waaay reduced.

Watch a few videos of people taking Amtrak trains here recently. The quality of the trains is not that great. I did a 3 day trip from OKC to Seattle with a few train changes and it wasn't as fun as I thought it was going to be.

I have a 13 year old and it’s totally normal to get smelly. We found that using LUME products helps so much! She keeps the wipes in her bag in case she needs a mid-day pit wipe down. She still uses antiperspirant before bed and after a shower, but the products are great we use them all.
